The SOHSET Auction was a rousing success due in large part to the hard work of the Ashland Equestrian Team and the many volunteers, donors and bidders that contributed to our biggest fundraising event of the year. Total proceeds for this year’s auction were $14,500, which is fantastic for our district and our team and should pay a large portion of our competition fees (Expo rental, judges, cattle, awards, etc.).  This is great news!

Thank you to everyone for their help in making the Auction a success.  “Thank you” to Claire, Laurel and Courtney for their set-up help, and to Ashly, Marissa, Linnie, Rihana, Sarah, Teague, Kailey, Amanda, Nitia, Michele and Ali for their help running the auction.  Your willingness to pitch-in when needed made this one of the best run auctions yet.

I’d also like to thank all of the families and friends who donated auction items and who purchased these contributions on Saturday evening.  Your generosity is deeply appreciated by all SOHSET athletes and makes equestrian competition more affordable for all our AHS athletes.
